Welcome to Mestre Curisco Capoeira Malês, formerly Quilombo do Queimado. We offer Capoeira Contemporânea, an intoxicating and fast-paced blend of self-defense, music and fluid movement, to anyone with a desire to learn. We welcome all ages and skill levels.

We teach capoeira in Seattle, Washington, at the Old Rainier Brewery. We recently opened a new Renton Studio, and we have many additional studios located throughout the US and Canada, as well as Mexico and Brazil.

Our core value is to advance cultural understanding and cooperation. It's our mission to be a community service available to all people. Tuition scholarships are available for those in need.

New Studio Location!
We have a new location at the Old Rainier Brewery. Follow the road around the north end to the back of the building. Our entrance is the black staircase on the right.

New Beginners Class
Beginners, no belts, white belts and yellow w/white belts
Mon & Wed 7:00pm-8:30pm
Introductory offer for brand new students:
